After 5 years of recording and touring as bass player of Indie Darlings "Frankie Cosmos" David Maine parted ways with the band to begin his solo career. Under the name "Floated" Maine creates a sonic world full of ethereal synths over-driven drums where he shares highly personal lyrics. Collaborators include his Brother Aaron Maine, of Porches, who lends guitar production on Floated's track "Missing from" and Felicia Douglass,of Dirty Projectors, who sings on single "Ok Yee."
